The IDE Filament Sensor for the Zortrax M200 pauses the printing process as soon as the filament spool is empty and also alerts you with an audible signal. As soon as you insert new filament, you can resume printing. This way, you won't lose print jobs due to a shortage of material. Furthermore, you can use up leftover material without worrying about running out of material for the model you're printing.
