The Replicator 2x already has a heated build platform, but it is not particularly high quality, while the Replicator 2 does not have a heated platform at all.

Without a heated build platform, you can only print PLA; a heated build platform opens up all material boundaries, so to speak. You can use many other materials besides ABS. And even with PLA, a heated platform offers enormous advantages.

Our build platform utilizes the entire build volume of your Replicator 2 and 2x , the plate is larger than that of the 2x and therefore has no temperature problems at the edges.

The board is "plug & print," meaning you don't need to solder or anything like that. The Replicator 2 and 2X both have the same circuit board, meaning both versions have the connection for the heater and the temperature sensor integrated into our build plate. With both the Replicator 2X and the Replicator 2, you simply need to plug in a connector and attach two cables to screw terminals – that's it.

The system with four magnets allows you to easily remove the glass plate from the printer to remove the parts. Once inserted, the plate is secured against slipping, allowing you to get started without having to re-level the plate.

The set can be removed at any time and the Replicator 2 / 2X can be returned to its factory condition; nothing is changed on the original parts.

The upgrade buildplate is compatible with the original Replicator 2&2X Z-axis and of course with our upgrade Z-axis.
